Entries accepted at main hall on Thursday September 4, 2025, from 3-9pm
Exhibits are to be picked up on Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 4-5pm

Tips for Exhibitors:
  • Please attach sample to entry tag of each exhibit.
  • One entry per section per exhibitor
  • OAAS Quilt Competitors. If you are NOT willing to have your quilt go onto District &/or Provincial level for judging, please note on the Entry tag.

  30. Quilt-any technique, any size, machine quilted by a long arm machine, name quilt maker and commercial quilter if applicable

OAAS COMPETITIONS RULES
OAAS Hand-Quilted Quilt Competition
  1. The quilt must be solely made, and hand quilted by the exhibitor and exhibited and judged at a local OAAS fair to be eligible for this competition.
  2. Quilts to be measured on the perimeter. Total perimeter to be a minimum of 324 inches. Note the quilt can be square or rectangular, etc. All 4 sides must be measured to determine the perimeter measurement.
  3. The quilting must be through the 3 layers (top, batting and back) and not be mounted on a frame. The quilt may have a sleeve attached to the back for the purpose of hanging the quilt.
  4. The winning OAAS Hand Quilt will not be eligible to compete in any future OAAS fair, district and/or provincial competitions.
  5. It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to give credit to the original designed of the quilt pattern based on copyright rules.
District & OAAS Hand Quilt Competition Rules are available to the eligible winner at local fair level.

OAAS Machine Quilted Quilt Competition
