Exhibitor Information:
  • Show will start at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 7, 2024 
    (please be registered with show number and ready to go by start time)
  • No Coggins required.
  • Insurance is required. Proof of insurance must be presented to show secretary before exhibitors will be allowed to compete. Proof can be included with entries or shown day of the show.
  • Entries can be emailed or called in directly to show chairperson.
  • $7/per class or $25 all day entrance fee per exhibitor
  • Prize money will not be paid at ringside day of show.
  • No Stallions allowed on the grounds.
  • No coaching will be tolerated from the rails.
  • Proper equestrian show attire expected, based on the discipline/tack used – unless otherwise instructed by the judge on show day.
  • Youth refers to an individual under 18 years of age as of January 1, 2024
  • Adult refers to an individual over 18 years of age as of January 1, 2024
  • Questions or inquiries pertaining to the Almonte Fair light horse show can be directed to Light horse secretary/chairperson listed above.

  5. Adult Showmanship – pattern class
  6. Grand Champion Showmanship – 1st & 2nd place from each showmanship age group compete for Grand and Reserve Champion, pattern class (no registration required)
  7. Leadline – English or Western – walk only – for riders under 7 years of age as of January 1, 2024. Must be led by an adult
  8. Leadline “Simon Says” Game – English or Western – for riders under 7 years of age as of January 1, 2024. Must be led by an adult
